The filing of these buns is made from freshly boiled and pureed red beans, which are inherently sweet. Earthy, creamy, and slightly sweet, our red bean buns are an incredible breakfast item or after dinner treat. Any day that starts or ends with a red bean bun is considered a good one.
RED MOONG PAO
PLEASE KEEP FROZEN UNTIL READY TO COOK
- Lightly coat/ spray some oil on a metal steam rack, line the rack with parchment paper (optional) or if you have a bamboo steamer that is best.
- Place in a pot of boiling water, but do not submerge the rack or steamer.
- Arrange the frozen red moong pao in single layer, spaced out evenly on top of the rack and steam for 15 - 20 minutes.
** Cook all Red Moong Pao to an internal temperature of 78°C **
