Mántóu are steamed buns that originated from China. It is normally made of white flour but in certain instances, other ingredients like sweet potato pumpkin and corn flour are added to the dough. It is a famous stable bun in China as evidenced by its familiar placement in a regular Chinese household’s dinner table

Steam: (Time: 15-20 minutes)
- Lightly coat/ spray some oil on a metal steam rack, line the rack with parchment paper (optional) or if you have a bamboo steamer that is best.
- Place in a pot of boiling water, but do not submerge the rack or steamer.
- Arrange the frozen mantou pao in a single layer about 1/4-inch apart on the lightly greased steamer basket and steam for about 15 to 20 minutes or until cooked through.
- Once cooked, remove carefully onto a plate with the help of tongs.
*Cook all mantou pao to an internal temperature of 78°C *
