Beef Tapa
A staple breakfast ingredient among Filipinos, the Beef Tapa is often served with fried rice and egg forming the classic "Tapsilog" dish, but it can also be paired with other dishes as well. Our very own Chef El guarantees you a good time after each bite of this tasty beef — especially if you dip it in vinegar.

Beef Tapa is a Filipino dried cured beef dish that can be compared to "beef jerky". It is traditionally prepared by curing the beef with sea salt by drying it under the sun to preserve the beef meat. Although current mass-market Beef Tapa do not undergo the drying process, it still undergoes curing process.
Beef Tapa
** Defrost the frozen beef tapa pack overnight in a chiller before use**
Remove the thawed beef tapa from the package and place them in a bowl. Refresh the marinade by tossing and massaging the beef.
Pan-Fry : (Time: 12-17 minutes)
- Heat up a nonstick pan on medium heat and add a tablespoon of oil, let it heat for a couple of minutes.
- Place the thawed beef tapa on the pan and allow them to sear for 5-7 minutes.
- Gently stir and turn them over on the other side and cook for another 5-7 minutes or until the chicken is cooked.
- Add 1/4 cup water and put a lid on so the moisture doesn’t escape. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Serving Suggestions:
Let the Beef Tapa rest for a few minutes once cooked.
Serve hot with Jasmine Rice and a fried egg.
