BBQ Chicken Pao

Stir-fried chicken cut in cubes, soaked in oyster and soy sauce, sprinkled with black pepper and sesame seeds and tossed until cooked, completes the preparation of one of our all-time favorite siopao buns. The BBQ Chicken Pao is one of the most popular Siopao variety served as snack or appetizer in many Asian countries especially in the Philippines, Hong Kong, and China.
BBQ Chicken Pao
*PLEASE KEEP FROZEN UNTIL READY TO COOK*
Steam: (Time: 15-20 minutes)
- Lightly coat/ spray some oil on a metal steam rack, line the rack with parchment paper (optional) or if you have a bamboo steamer that is best.
- Place in a pot of boiling water, but do not submerge the rack or steamer.
- Arrange the frozen bbq chicken pao in a single layer about 1/4-inch apart on the lightly greased steamer basket and steam for about 15 to 20 minutes or until cooked through.
- Once cooked, remove carefully onto a plate with the help of tongs.
*Cook all BBQ chicken pao to an internal temperature of 78°C *
